Yes. Every plan comes with a 14-day free trial with full access to all of its features — you can explore everything before committing a single dollar. Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing.

Free email tiers attract spammers, and spammers ruin deliverability for everyone sending from the same infrastructure. Because every AuthorSend sender is a paying creator, our sending reputation stays clean — which means more of your emails land in inboxes instead of spam folders. We think a full-access 14-day trial is a fairer deal than a crippled free plan.

Never. Only active readers count. When someone unsubscribes from your emails or an address hard-bounces, they stop counting against your plan immediately. We also never count the same reader twice, no matter how many lists or segments they belong to.

We notify you in-app as you approach your limit, and nothing breaks if you cross it — there are no overage fees and we never delete your readers. Your existing readers keep receiving your emails; you simply upgrade to the next plan when you are ready to keep adding new ones.

Almost always, yes. To protect everyone’s deliverability, brand-new sending accounts warm up over the first several days — daily volume starts a little lower and climbs automatically as your reputation proves out. Most authors never notice; if you are importing a large list for a launch, connect your account a few days ahead and it will be at full capacity when you hit send. There is never a per-email charge or a monthly send cap.

Yes — the AI writing assistant and brand voice are on every plan, never locked to a higher tier. Each member of your team gets a monthly allowance of AI generations (100 on Starter, 500 on Growth, 2,000 on Pro) that resets every month; higher tiers simply include more. It is metering to keep the tool fast and sustainable, not a paywall on the feature.

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When upgrading, you get immediate access to higher-tier features and your payment is prorated. When downgrading, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

Yes. Annual billing saves you roughly 20% compared to monthly billing — about two and a half months free. The discount is applied automatically when you toggle to annual pricing.
